We are seeking friendly and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Cashiers. As a Cashier, you will be the final point of contact for our customers, responsible for processing their purchases accurately and providing excellent customer service. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive and efficient checkout experience for our valued customers. Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the store.
Accurately scan and ring up customer purchases at the checkout counter.
Calculate and process payments, including cash, credit cards, and digital payment methods.
Provide information and answer questions about products, promotions, and store policies.
Bag items, offer assistance with packing, and ensure that purchased items are handled with care.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including replenishing bags and receipt paper.
Resolve customer complaints, issues, or returns in a professional and courteous manner.
Verify age for restricted items, such as alcohol and tobacco, following legal requirements.
Assist with restocking merchandise on shelves and maintaining proper inventory levels.
Follow cash handling and security procedures to prevent theft and fraud.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth checkout process.

Qualifications:
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills for processing payments and providing change.
Professional appearance and a courteous demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle customer inquiries with patience.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
