School Bus Driver

Description

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a school bus and transport students to and from school, following prescribed routes and schedules.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times during transportation.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the school bus interior and exterior.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation schedules, routes, and safety procedures.
Enforce rules and regulations for student behavior on the bus, promoting a safe and respectful environment.
Handle emergencies and accidents calmly and effectively, following established protocols and procedures.
Complete and maintain accurate records of bus mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.

Requirements:

Valid UAE driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a bus driver, preferably in a school or similar setting.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations.
Physical ability to operate a school bus safely, including sitting for extended periods and performing routine vehicle inspections.
