Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Database Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company’s databases. As a Database Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our data management systems. Your expertise in database administration, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our data-driven operations.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage databases to store and organize company data.
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations.
Develop and implement data management policies and procedures.
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Plan and execute database backups, recovery processes, and disaster management.
Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate databases with applications.
Monitor database activity and proactively address performance and security concerns.
Manage user access and permissions to databases.
Analyze data trends and generate reports for business intelligence.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database management.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Database Manager or in a similar role is required.
Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Proficiency in database design, normalization, and query optimization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
Database administration certification is a plus.
