Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the final point of contact for our customers during their shopping experience, providing efficient and accurate checkout services. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and dedication to providing exceptional service will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers.
Scan and weigh items, enter prices, and apply discounts as needed.
Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or questions.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Process returns and exchanges following established policies.
Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to enhance the customer experience.
Uphold company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
Assist with restocking merchandise and maintaining displays when needed.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
Strong numerical and basic math skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
Friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
