Position: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to assist management in making informed business decisions.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with tax preparation and ensure timely filing of all tax returns.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial integrity.
Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
