Workshop Supervisor

Description

Responsibilities:

Supervising and coordinating workshop activities, including repairs, maintenance, and servicing of vehicles or equipment
Assigning tasks to technicians and mechanics and ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to quality standards
Monitoring workshop performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the workshop
Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed to support workshop operations
Providing technical guidance and support to workshop staff as required
Maintaining records of work orders, repairs, and equipment maintenance activities
Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs

Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a workshop or automotive environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Technical knowledge and understanding of vehicle or equipment maintenance procedures
Ability to effectively manage time and resources to meet deadlines and targets
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in workshop operations
