Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Stock Clerk/Storekeeper to join our team at the mall in Dubai. As a Stock Clerk/Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operations of our stores by managing inventory and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of the retail operations within the mall.

Responsibilities:

Receive incoming merchandise and verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders.
Inspect and record the condition of products, checking for damages and discrepancies.
Organize and label incoming stock in the storage area and on the sales floor.
Maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stock shortages.
Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock to ensure the sale of fresh and in-date products.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist in performing periodic inventory counts.
Replenish stock on the sales floor, ensuring shelves and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
Collaborate with sales associates to fulfill customer requests and locate specific products.
Assist in the processing of merchandise returns and exchanges.
Follow proper stock handling and storage procedures to prevent damage or loss.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor.
Report any stock-related issues or discrepancies to the store supervisor or management.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in retail management is a plus.
Proven experience as a Stock Clerk, Storekeeper, or in a similar inventory management role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock tracking.
Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and merchandise.
Familiarity with retail point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to stock handling.
