Position : Safety Officer Educational Qualification : B.Sc Chemistry OR B.Tech Chemical Engg)Candidate Requisite : Proven competencies in conducting training sessions for the workforce & employees to generate safety consciousness. Strong record of achieving substantial reduction in accident and injury rates. Adequate exposure to automatic chemicals plants (SCADA) Maintenance Erection and Commissioning for Chemical & Pressure Plant 5-S ISO 9001-2000 (Quality Management system.) ISO 14000 (Environment Management System.) ISO 18000 (Occupational Health & Safety) ETP Fully conversant with production processes in chemicals/ petrochemicals and oil industries. Assertive team leader, trainer and motivator with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication Chemical Handled: Ammonia, chlorine, Sulphuric acid, Phosphoric Acid, hydrogen, Acetone, phosphorus, Sulfur, Caustic, Phosphorus Penta-sulphide, Hydrochloric Acid, formaldehyde, Naphthalene, etc. Equipment Handled : Distillation column , Various reactor, Quencher, Centrifuge machine, Rotating drum drier( Flakers ) , Filter, Chlorinator, Scrubber , Deod, Pulverizer, Pin mill, Automatic pouch/bottle filling machine , Various melting tank, Oven, press filter etc.Job : –Ø Ensure That HSE Policies, procedure and Practice Are disseminated And Explained To Employees In Field Locations. Ø Develop And implement HSE objectives In Coordination With Management. Ø Solid waste and effluent Waste management by communicating & Liasoning with Government Bodies. Ø Investigation Of Incident/Accident ,Near Miss accident And Suggest The Corrective Preventive Measure to avoid Reoccurrences. Ø To maintain and review the legal register and fulfill the Requirement as desired by company. Ø To prepare Yearly Training schedule Including Mock-drill , HSE and conduct the training as per the schedule and Similarly on the job safety training ,Tool box talk etc. Ø To organize ,conduct monthly safety meeting .and sort out the HSE related issue by co-ordinating with management . Ø Prepare Monthly Report and present to the Managing director./General manager Ø Clearing work permit for Hot Work , Excavation , height Work .Confined Spe And Work.Permit For Hazardous material carrying Pipe line & for Lifting along with Risk assessment Ø Inspection of Eye Wash Fountain and Safety Shower , First Aid Box . and maintain the record . Ø VOC monitoring in plant scrubber system, ware houses , Ø Inspection of Fire Pump /Fire extinguisher, Smoke detector Fire Alarm panel and Keep Record of same Ø Control on Security system by instruction and Giving Training . Ø Review of Risk Analysis (HAZOP) ,Environmental Impact Assessment / Environmental Risk Assessment. Ø Managing the External HSE audit and Environmental Monitoring Including Air Quality, Noise , Stack , Ambient Air quality ,VOC ,Soil , water etc Ø To Carry Internal HSE audit . Ø Monitoring safety Violation and correct the same by Proper training and Warning them Use of Suitable PPE’S as per the JOB performing by them /Employees . Ø To Purchase the PPE’s and Issue to the employees and to Keep the record of same .
