Tendering Assistant
An established Trading company in Dubai is urgently required a Tendering Assistant.
Responsibilities
• To work closely with the Tender Manager to support the management and development of the firm’s tender’s process.
• Prepare excel costing sheets.
• Supporting the drafting of compelling tender submissions and proposals, creating high quality and well-written method statements and other related information.
• coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications
• Contributing to the design and format of tender submissions and proposals, including the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Ensuring the firm’s ‘Tender Library’ and related databases contain accurate, and easy to access information, and are regularly updated.
• Diarizing and attending key tender/proposal meetings, providing related administrative assistance to all meeting attendees as required.
• Attention to detail and proof-reading skills, as well as the ability to contribute to the drafting of tender responses.
• To vet through incoming tenders and to note down tender due date, project start and end date, tender submission instructions/requirement and mode of submission;
• To ensure that tender submissions are standardized in terms of format, font, logo, etc. and in line with customer’s tender requirements
• monitor and ensure that tender submission due dates are strictly adhered to, including the checking, binding, packing and preparation of outgoing submissions;

Desirable:
• Educated to degree/equivalent level.
• Expertise in Excel Costing preparation with very good speed is must.
• Previous experience and knowledge of a tender/proposal process / or possession of a good level of relevant work experience.
• Technical knowledge pertaining to Telecom Products or an engineering background will be an added advantage.
