Position Summary: The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, managing phone lines, and performing a variety of clerical tasks to support smooth office operations. As the “face” of the company, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary
Manage the visitor log and issue visitor passes, ensuring security protocols are followed
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining meeting room availability
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the company’s standards
Provide basic information and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or team members
Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in customer service is a plus
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional appearance and a friendly attitude
Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer-facing roles
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
Basic knowledge of administrative practices
