Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize transportation, distribution, and inventory management.
Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and transportation carriers to ensure cost-effective and reliable service.
Monitor and analyze transportation costs, delivery times, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, order picking, packing, and shipping.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements in all logistics and warehouse activities.
Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and development.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and meet customer demand.
Continuously monitor industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in logistics and warehouse management to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven work experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of logistics principles, processes, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
Familiarity with UAE customs regulations, import/export procedures, and transportation laws.
