Job Description:

Position Overview:
As an IT Technician at Al Hamriya, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our IT systems and networks within the food and packaged food industry. You will work closely with our IT team to provide technical support and ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Support:

Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot the company’s network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in the implementation of security protocols to safeguard digital information.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
Conduct regular system updates and upgrades.
Technical Support:

Provide technical support to employees, addressing IT-related concerns and inquiries.
Collaborate with end-users to identify and resolve technical issues.
Offer training and guidance to employees on IT-related matters.
Data Backup and Recovery:

Implement data backup procedures to prevent data loss.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Security Compliance:

Enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the company’s digital assets.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and implement preventive measures.
Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Prepare reports and analysis related to IT operations as required.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position in the food and packaged food industry.
Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Experience with IT security practices and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) will be a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
