Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to staff and clients via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist with the setup of new user accounts and system configurations.
Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
Monitor IT systems to detect issues and resolve them proactively.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve system efficiency.
Provide training to staff on the use of software and hardware.
Keep track of IT inventory and order replacements as needed.
Ensure data security and confidentiality in line with company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware/software issues.
Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Basic knowledge of networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple issues simultaneously.
Customer-service-oriented with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
IT-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
