Description
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to our clients across the UAE as part of the IT support team.
Work with the implementation team in onboarding new clients, migrating, upgrading, and being involved in IT projects and new systems deployment.
Answer calls and provide necessary support over the phone, email, or physical visit.
Manage multiple support tickets at once and prioritize user requirements.
Manage client requirements and propose new technology to improve their environment.
Implement approved security guidelines and ensure compliance.
Keep the IT Helpdesk system records accurate and up to date.
Install, modify, upgrade, and repair computer hardware and software, as well as computer peripherals.
Manage and administer Office 365 tenants with advanced features.
Research and identify solutions to software, hardware, systems, networks, printers, and scanners issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.
Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
Ensure all issues are properly logged.
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
Maintain positive relationships with clients.
Provide technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
Balance team and individual responsibilities.
Accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT service.
Develop agreed solutions and implement new systems
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as IT support engineer or similar role.
Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
The ability to communicate technical information to non-IT clients and colleagues.
