Food Court Attendant

Description

Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they approach the food counter.
Take customer orders and provide menu recommendations as needed.
Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and food safety standards.
Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of orders to customers.
Handle cash transactions and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including tables and seating areas.
Replenish food and beverage displays to ensure products are readily available for customers.
Follow proper food handling and hygiene procedures, including regular handwashing.
Assist in food preparation, such as slicing ingredients or assembling menu items.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with the kitchen staff and other food service team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work as part of a team and support fellow team members.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Familiarity with different cuisines and menu items is advantageous.
