Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commis Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes as directed by the senior chefs.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the Head Chef.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, peeling, and washing.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance culinary skills.
Support the kitchen team in various tasks and duties as required.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role is preferred.
Culinary degree or equivalent training is a plus.
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
