Covet Chocolate Bean to Bar chocolate looking for a chocolate maker – a chocolate chief who is able to develop and create chocolate fillings from scratches. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience in chocolate making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Making chocolate bonbons as well as Making filling like ganache, praline, gianduia with hard shells or soft shells
Able to tamper chocolate manually
Performing all steps of our production: inspecting beans, roasting, cracking, winnowing, starting batches, tempering, foiling bars, and packaging
Tasting and evaluating chocolate bars for flavor and quality
Cleaning production facility
Able to develop new recipes

The ability to complete tasks quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Problem-solving skills and adaptability
Familiarity with a fast-paced work environment
Prior experience working in a commercial kitchen
Communication skills
at least 3 years of experience in chocolate making
The ability to take directions as well as self-direct and fast learning
Previous chocolate making experience required
Ability to work independently
