Academic jobs in the UAE under the name of Associate Professor, Professor, to work according to the qualifications and conditions set by the university for the jobs, as follows:
Responsibilities:
1- A proven research record for planning, obtaining, and analyzing observations to investigate deep questions about planets and their moons, along with ring systems, gas clouds, atmospheres, and the magnetosphere, how planetary systems were formed and whether they could – or could – support life
2- Developing a strong research program funded from abroad
3- Demonstrate excellence or promise to excel in teaching at both the university and graduate levels
4- Play an active role in the highly successful astronomical communication initiatives of SCASS.

Qualifications required:
– PhD in astronomy with relevant post-doctoral experience.
– Preferred knowledge in the following fields: study of active galactic nuclei, star formation, neutron stars, x-ray diodes, pulsars, dark matter, early cosmology, general relativity, analysis of measurements of the cosmic microwave background and the large scale construct.
Excellent verbal and written communication in business in Arabic and English.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
