Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

To work according to the Drawing / Sketch / Using blueprints/diagrams and fixtures following welding procedures to TIG weld in all positions, including rotary turntables for manual welding.
Inspects, maintains and logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for welding and fabricating.
Sets up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and GTAW (TIG weld) material to meet fabrication drawing requirements.
Drawing review and compliance for final dimensions, weld note callouts, base material and filler material selection.
Solvent cleaning, trimming, sizing and polishing to prepare weld joints for welding
Visual weld inspection using fillet weld gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges and final weld fixtures.
Weld inspection for weld size, face and root reinforcement, cracks, inclusions and porosity
All position full GTAW welding for all stainless steel welding grades
To assist other individuals when needed.
To maintain the working area clean.
To take care of all the Equipment and Tools.
To reduce the wastage/scrap.

Skills:

Strong skills in TIG welding (6G) works.
Knowledge in codes and standards
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Excellent communication skills.
Having a working experience in UAE and other GCC/ North African regions.
UAE Driving license is added advantage.

Qualification:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / ITI related certificate.
Minimum 3 years experience in Fabrication / Equipment Manufacturing field.
