Description

Job Title: Telephone Operator

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Greet callers and provide information about the company and its services.
Transfer calls to the appropriate department or individual.
Take messages accurately and relay them to the intended recipient.
Assist callers with inquiries, requests, and general information.
Maintain a log of incoming and outgoing calls.
Operate telephone switchboard equipment efficiently.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding telephone etiquette and call handling.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience as a telephone operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional telephone etiquette and demeanor.
Ability to multitask and prioritize incoming calls.
Familiarity with telephone systems and equipment.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
