Supply Chain and Logistics Officer

Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to avoid shortages or excesses.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding logistics and transportation.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals.
Implement and maintain safety and quality standards for logistics operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Supply Chain and Logistics Officer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management and logistics principles.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
