About the job
• Supervise the Security Officers and conduct daily briefings
• Assign duties to the Security Officers as per the instructions from the Security/ Facilities Manager
• Check the property on a daily basis for any damage or incidents
• Provide effective internal and external communications and information about security of the system and environment in an efficient and timely manner
• Assist incident investigators in gathering information and evidence whenever necessary
• Meet and greet customers and provide a high level of customer service
• Guard entrance and exits and submit reports to the management on a daily basis
• Monitor designated areas on the CCTV system
• Ensure that ‘Fire Exit’ doors are kept free of blockage at all times and ensure that fire and safety equipment are in the assigned areas
• Perform all tasks consistently in line with the EFS standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements
• Maintain a safe place of work. Immediately notify the Security / Facilities Manager of any safety issues or concerns
• Adhere to all regulations in respect to security at work
• Promote teamwork and customer service excellence
• Record keeping and produce detailed work reports, as required
• Flexible availability for 24/7 standby duties and emergency call outs
• Ensure security emergencies are responded to within the agreed time-frames
• Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by management
• Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair Leadership and Management
• Develop, lead, motivate and inspire a professional team enabling them to meet both personal and business targets. Provide clear operational direction and support to team
• Monitor and evaluate performance levels of employees. Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance Indicators
• Strong teamwork ethic and promotion of customer service excellence
