Stock Controller

Description

We are looking for a Stock Controller to manage our inventory and purchase merchandise based on our company’s needs.

Stock Controller responsibilities include tracking shipments, overseeing inventory audits and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with vendors, clients and internal teams.

Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across storage and sales areas

Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies

Record and update inventory data in stock management systems or ERP platforms

Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with warehouse and logistics teams

Investigate inventory variances and report findings to management

Ensure products are correctly labeled, stored, and organized

Assist in preparing inventory reports for audits and management reviews

Communicate with procurement and sales teams regarding stock availability

Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards in inventory handling

Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and process improvements
