Speech TherapistGeneral Location: Al Ain Occupancy: full time job description include key duties:• To demonstrate clinical effectiveness by the use of evidence-based practice and outcome measures as agreed within the department. • To refer on to other services where appropriate, ensuring that consent is obtained from supervisor . • To deliver and lead group care programs with other therapists or support assistants . • To be responsible for collecting and submitting timely caseload statistics • To contribute to the development of speech and language therapy within school • To attend case conferences/annual reviews with the advice/support of the senior therapist • To communicate and negotiate with pupils, supervisor and other professional in a clear and concise manner. • To maintain comprehensive and contemporaneous clinical records and reports in line with national and local standards and provide assessment reports under the requirements of the 1996 Education Act. • To demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and acquisition up to date skills and knowledge. • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons . • Responsibilities for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact with . • To carry a personal clinical caseload and be responsible for assessment, differential diagnosis, formulation of treatment plans, writing assessment reports, providing appropriate intervention and evaluating outcomes. • Performing controlled therapy sessions with individuals, groups and/or families .Roles & Responsibilities • To be responsible for the review and discharge of individual pupils . • To be aware of all departmental and professional standards required.
