Shiplift & transfer System facility Manager (FM)
Job Description:
The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ship lifting and transfer facilities. .
Key Responsibilities:
Technical and Operational Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of ship lifting and transfer facilities.
Manpower Coordination: Act as the primary supervisor for all operational staff. Coordinate with Syncrolift and Customer.
Documentation and Reporting. Generate and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on the execution of agreements and operations.
Maintenance Records: Keep detailed maintenance records in line with manufacturer’s instructions and standards.
Use of a Database system for managing work schedules, plans, requests, orders, and completion reports.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in facility management, particularly in ship lifting and maritime operations.
Strong technical background in maritime engineering or a related field.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage complex projects and multitask effectively.
Supervisors Shiplift & Transfer System
ASSIGNMENTS
Responsible for the complete delivery of a periodic inspection / customer service visit / Factory Acceptance Test at our customers or suppliers site.
Site Inspector is responsible for our own or subcontractors’ personnel at any time on site.
Local responsible for health, environment, and safety on site.
Administration of site records and reports
QUALIFICATIONS / PERSONALITY
A qualified Mechanical engineer or similar with electrical / electronic general experience.
Relevant field experience on large structure installations and commissioning
Understand technical drawings and installation manuals.
Hands-on and not afraid to pick up a tool yourself.
Fluency in written and oral English
Good IT competence
Self going, confident and good communication skills.
Decisive, open and direct leader.
Good to handle stress and thrive in a constantly changing day.
All Applicants must possess a flexible attitude and be willing to work unsupervised. Should have previous experience in marine industries. In addition, they must be able to demonstrate the ability to control a multi-disciplined workforce and make innovative decisions.
