Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as School Day Care Staff. As a member of our day care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include supervising activities, assisting with meals, and ensuring the well-being of the children. Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children in the day care program, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and playtime to encourage physical, social, and cognitive development.
Assist with meals, snacks, and naptime routines, following dietary and allergy guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized day care environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s activities and well-being.
Collaborate with other day care staff to ensure a consistent and positive experience for all children.
Observe and document children’s behavior, progress, and any concerns for discussion with supervisors or parents.
Follow school policies and procedures, including emergency protocols and health and safety guidelines.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; childcare certification or relevant coursework is a plus.
Previous experience in child care, day care, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and afternoons.
