Sales Merchandiser For Hypermarket

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser to ensure that our products are displayed attractively and effectively to drive sales. The Sales Merchandiser will be responsible for implementing merchandising strategies, maintaining product displays, and optimizing product placement to maximize visibility and sales.
Responsibilities:
• Implement merchandising plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Ensure that product displays are visually appealing, organized, and effectively showcase the features and benefits of the products.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for product placement, promotions, and cross-selling.
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess the effectiveness of merchandising efforts and make necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain product samples, promotional materials, and displays.
• Train store staff on product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and promotional activities.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in promotional events, product launches, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in retail merchandising, sales, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing product displays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and merchandising best practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
