Job Title: Safety Officer/ HSE Officer
Chemical Storage/ Industry related experience is must.
Full-time, Permanent

Minimum Educational Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in health & safety with IOSH, NEBOSH or HSW (minimum)
Skills & Qualifications Required:
• Proven work Experience as Safety officer.
• Knowledge of level 1 first aider, Tool box talks, SOP trainings, HSE induction
• First aid & firefighting certificates
• Risk Assessment, Analysis and Inspection knowledge
• Basic firefighting Training & Iso documentation knowledge.
• Team Player & Ability to Work Under pressure
• Good Knowledge in MS Office (Ms Word & Excel)
• Good English & Hindi communication skills
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
• Patrolling & supervise the whole premises at regular interval in order to maintain safe operations
• Maintaining daily records for the identified & rectified unsafe behaviour/faults.
• Ordering repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment etc.
• Issuing work permit where ever necessary and ensure safe handling
• Ordering, Issuing & maintaining record for PPE and other safety harness
• Presenting safety principles to staff in meetings or lecture-type training sessions
• Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols
• Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes
• Raising & Implementing 5 S Housekeeping standards and maintaining.
• Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the operation team and the entire establishment.
• Meeting company health and safety goals.
• Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site
• Finding the best way to prevent future accidents
• Reviewing and reporting on the staff’s compliance with health and safety rules
• Coordinating & supporting warehouse operations.
• Handling Administrative tasks from line manager
