Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Store Salesman to join our retail team. The Store Salesman will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products, pricing, and promotions within the store.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments.
Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, alerting supervisors when replenishment is needed.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and goals.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue and enhance the customer experience.
Maintain a positive attitude and strive to provide exceptional customer service.
Follow company policies and procedures, including security and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in retail sales is a plus but not required.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.
Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
