Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Picking and Packing Specialist to join our textile warehouse team. As a Picking and Packing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment and maintaining the quality of our textile products. Responsibilities:
Receive and process customer orders, both manually and through a computerized inventory system.
Pick textile products from warehouse shelves or storage areas based on order specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent damage during transit.
Label packages with shipping information and affix proper documentation, such as invoices or packing slips.
Use hand tools and equipment, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts, to move and transport materials within the warehouse.
Perform regular inventory checks and restock picking locations to ensure product availability.
Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure accurate and timely order shipments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing area.
Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, order status, and shipment tracking.
Assist in training new warehouse staff on picking and packing procedures.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse operations is a plus.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, particularly in picking and packing.
Familiarity with textile products and handling requirements is preferred.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks or forklifts, safely and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [weight limit]) and stand for extended periods.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
