Transport Supervisor Maverick, the premium school transport provider, This role entails managing the overall bus transportation on a daily basis and be the primary point of contact for the parent community. The parent community in this school is continental Europeans expecting the highest service and standard thus requiring very strong communication skills and managing through tough situations.The candidate must also be able to firmly uphold the rules set out by Maverick and the school when challenged while understanding the premium nature of the service.Job title Senior Transport Supervisor Department transport Start date Immediate Location Dubai, UAE Reports to Operations Manager Position(s) Supervised N/AJob Scope The Senior Transport Supervisor will work within the school premises and will responsible to manage all bus transportation to the satisfaction of Maverick and the School management. The fleet includes the pickup and drop-off buses, ASA buses and ad hoc request as required by the school.Main Duties and Responsibilities • Ultimate responsibility to set and manage the overall route plan • Managing the fleet of drivers and bus assistants on a daily basis in coordination with Maverick’s operation center • Manage parents’ enrollment on the bus service • Effective communication with a high-end parent community expecting a pristine service from Maverick and the school • Ensure buses respect the contractual time limits committed by Maverick and the school to the parent community • Ensure that child protection policies are always adhered to MUST HAVE SKILLS • Proficiency in English • Good communication skills (written and verbal) • Good organizational and planning skills • Must be presentable • Customer oriented • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Good Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel are mandatory • Able to perform under pressure Experience • Must have previous experience in school transportation as senior supervisor, dealing with customer services and sensitive and premiere clientele • Client facing experience in top tier schools, Transportation, Hospitality and healthcare Competencies • High integrity • Strong analytical skills • Inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills • Proven ability to build strong working relationship, internal and external to the organization Additional Requirements • Candidates with multinational experience Salary & Benefits The salary and benefits package is competitive, will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate and is in line with UAE Labor Law.
