Logistics Officer

Description

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods through the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery.
Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to optimize efficiency.
Prepare and track shipping documentation, invoices, and delivery schedules.
Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and customers to arrange shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
Analyze and improve logistical processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Handle any logistics-related issues, such as delays, damaged goods, or shortages.
Generate reports on logistical performance, expenses, and KPIs.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Logistics Officer or in a similar role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to solve problems quickly and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations.
