Logistics Assistant

Description

Responsibilities:

Assist in coordinating transportation and logistics operations, including scheduling deliveries, arranging shipments, and tracking orders.
Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documents, such as bills of lading, shipping labels, and delivery receipts.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in conducting regular stock checks and audits.
Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse storage and layout to maximize efficiency.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
Assist in resolving any transportation or logistics issues, such as delays or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions in the inventory management system.
Assist in preparing reports and analysis on logistics performance, trends, and costs.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the logistics manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
