Logistic Co-ordinator

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistic Co-ordinator to manage the coordination and execution of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate shipments, including transportation, scheduling, and delivery. Oversee the receiving process, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering to avoid shortages. Maintain accurate inventory records and track inventory movements.
Scheduling: Organize and optimize transportation schedules for timely delivery and cost-efficiency. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure proper coordination.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain all necessary documentation for transportation, including shipping records, bills of lading, and customs paperwork. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, shipments, and other logistics activities.
Supplier and Vendor Communication: Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and customers to resolve any logistical issues, including delays or product discrepancies.
Cost Control: Monitor and manage logistics costs, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, or similar role.
Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and inventory management.
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of shipping regulations, including international freight and customs.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
