Landscaping maintenance engineer has overall responsibility for the maintenance of all Softscape and local irrigation assets and the control of work and workers which involved in the project. His duties include maintenance and appearance of Lawn area, shrubs, trees, palms and ground cover shall be performed in a professional workmanlike manner. Grounds maintenance is defined as fertilizing, mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, disease and insect control, debris and litter removal from the plant bed; palm, flower, tree and shrubs & ground cover maintenance. His responsibilities and authorities include

– Setting maintenance strategies as a part of maintenance procedures

– Inspecting and approving report and documentation drafted by the supervisor

– Allocating sufficient and suitable resource to enable the implementation of the Company’s maintenance policy and achievement of the Contractor and Client project objectives.

– Demonstrating by good example his commitment and personal concern for the top quality maintenance work

– Reviewing all the maintenance performance statistics and initiatives and to take corrective action if necessary.

– Implementing disciplinary procedure.

– Participating and assisting in the prompt investigation of any reportable events and ensuring effective measures are taken to prevent recurrence.

– Liaise with client and consultant for the high quality maintenance procedures.

– Setting Health and Safety policies, objectives and targets as a part of Health and Safety Program.
