Landscape Maintenance Engineer
(Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Agriculture Engineering preferred)

A reputed 20 Years old Landscape Company in UAE is looking for Landscape maintenance Engineer with Bachelor’s degree in Civil / agricultural engineering, or related field experience in all aspects of landscape supervision & Maintenance

Required Experience
• Minimum of 5 years Landscape Maintenance experience (Soft & Hard landscaping and Irrigation & Water feature systems) is a must.
• UAE Landscape Maintenance experience is preferred.
• Landscape Project Experience involving Soft & Hard landscaping and Irrigation & Water feature systems will get preferences.

Required Technical Skills
• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with a good capability in written technical skills to produce daily/weekly reports.
• Sound knowledge of irrigation system, Fertilizer & foliage applications, Herbicide, fungicide & pesticide, Seasonal flowers planting & maintenance, Lawn management, ground cover maintenance, Indoor & Aquatic plants maintenance, Palm tree maintenance & pollination, overall maintenance and installation management softscape
• Must have a sound knowledge of horticultural practice with specific regard to the implementation of large-scale hard and soft landscape works common to the Gulf region.
• Taking over of the landscaping from existing contractor and identify the current defects.
• Preparing and executing maintenance schedule and plan for softscape
• Prepare weekly, monthly, Incident, Condition survey reports on the softscape
• Ensure the recreation ground turfs are maintained to the highest quality and any rectification, modifications and enhancements required are highlighted then and there and in the monthly reports.
• Create and maintain the inventory for landscaping materials and have them replenished once the threshold is reached.
• Provide recommendation on the soil, plants and trees condition.
• Determine types and quantities of horticultural plants to be grown based on budgets
• Maintenance of irrigation pumps sets, pipes, tanks, timers and related accessories.
• Technical support for other related departments for the landscape.
• Monthly evaluation for the service providers through KPI’s & SLA.
• Communication and coordination with other departments through various communication methods
• Site Survey, BOQ preparation and provide required support for estimations team
• Sort out potential issues of irrigation construction in weekly, monthly and site coordination meetings;

• Good interpersonal skills
• Meet with Clients on a regular basis to ensure work is carried out
• Proven ability to perform in a site supervision role.
• Must be knowledgeable of current landscape practices and how to best implement it on the project.
• Develop and maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and team members
• Monitor routine maintenance and progress on reported deficiencies and ensure that maintenance is of good standard that ensures the viability and continued success of the installation and that issues are reported and addressed.
• Resource management (manpower and materials)
• Management of suppliers of materials for timely delivery.
• Treats client’s environment as if it were our own
• Exceeds client expectations to earn loyalty, trust, and referrals
• Control and manage man, machinery and material to achieve optimum efficiency;
• Check and measure the performed work in his line of work,

Required Computer & Communications Skills
• Must be computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
• Worked in Auto CAD software
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken
• Knowledge about CAFM/Asset Management will be added advantage
