As a Kitchen Helper/Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen area, supporting kitchen staff, and ensuring a hygienic environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling various tasks to assist in the overall efficiency of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment and ensure they are stored appropriately.
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and equipment.
Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and portioning ingredients.
Dispose of waste and maintain recycling practices in the kitchen.
Keep kitchen floors and work areas clean and free of debris.
Assist kitchen staff in organizing and storing supplies.
Follow proper sanitation and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
