Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all IT-related functions.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and assistance to staff and students on IT-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems in a timely manner.
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts and access permissions.
Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
Provide training and support to users on the effective use of IT systems and software.
Maintain accurate records of IT issues and resolutions.
Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to provide effective solutions.
Assist with the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Previous experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using IT support tools and software.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
