Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our Facility Management team. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR practices and processes within the facility management division. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals and tradespeople.
Coordinate the entire recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and onboarding new employees.
Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and educational institutions to source potential candidates.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Act as a mediator in employee disputes, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
Develop and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Organize team-building activities, training sessions, and workshops to promote a positive work environment.
Performance Management:
Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, providing guidance and support to supervisors and employees.
Develop and maintain performance improvement plans to help employees reach their full potential.
Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization’s compliance.
Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a productive and inclusive workplace.
Conduct regular HR audits to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and collaborate with department heads to develop training programs.
Facilitate training sessions on topics such as diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and safety protocols.
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and support them in the enrollment process.
Collaborate with external vendors to provide competitive and comprehensive benefits packages.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in the facility management or related industry.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
