Hotel cleaners have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Cleaning guest rooms by making beds, cleaning windowsills, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting furnishings, and cleaning bathrooms
Cleaning and sterilizing bathrooms including removing hair from drains, cleaning toilets, and scrubbing tubs and showers
Cleaning common areas such as hallways, stairwells, lobbies, and reception areas
Changing bed linens, making beds, vacuuming rugs, dusting furniture, cleaning mirrors and windows, replacing light bulbs, and removing cobwebs
Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms in public places such as airports, train stations, bus terminals, schools, hospitals, office buildings, retail stores, restaurants, bars, hotels, convention centers, and government facilities
