Head Waiter

Description

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a strong attention to detail. As Head Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service to guests, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any guest concerns or inquiries
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff, including wait staff, hosts/hostesses, and bussers
Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff
Create and maintain a positive and professional work environment
Monitor dining room operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize efficiency
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communication and timely service
Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including overseeing table setups and ensuring adherence to sanitation and safety guidelines
Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and standards
Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
