Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Grocery Attendants at our hypermarket. The Grocery Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the grocery section, restocking shelves, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the grocery section is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
Restock shelves with products, ensuring proper rotation of items to minimize waste
Assist customers in locating products and provide information about product features and pricing
Ensure products are properly labeled with prices and promotional offers
Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock is low or out of stock
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain the quality and freshness of products
Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Bag groceries and assist customers with carrying their purchases to their vehicles, if needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and cleanliness standards

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment preferred but not required
Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with customers
Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers or POS systems
