Grocery Assistant

Description

We are looking for dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Grocery Attendants. The Grocery Attendant will assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in finding products or locating items within the store.
Restock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are properly displayed and organized.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment by sweeping, mopping, and tidying aisles and shelves.
Assist in unloading deliveries and sorting items for storage or display.
Monitor product expiration dates and remove any expired or damaged items from shelves.
Operate cash registers and assist in processing customer transactions when needed.
Provide friendly and courteous service, answering customer inquiries and addressing concerns.
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment.

Requirements:
Previous experience in a retail or grocery store setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
