Forklift Operator for Factory in Dubai

Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role ensures the efficient flow of materials and products within the warehouse or production environment, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe Operation of Forklift:
• Operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse or production area.
• Inspect the forklift before each use to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Material Handling:
• Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, loading docks, and production areas.
• Stack and arrange materials and products on pallets or shelves according to organizational standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, containers, and other vehicles as needed.
Quality Assurance:
• Inspect materials and products for damage, defects, or discrepancies during transportation or storage.
• Report any quality issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Housekeeping and Maintenance:
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sweeping floors, removing debris, and keeping aisles clear.
• Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking fluid levels and replacing worn or damaged parts.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment.
• Knowledge of forklift safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
