Description
We are looking to employ a Maintenance Engineer with an outstanding knowledge of Pumps and valves, Boilers maintenance procedures for Oil and Gas, and Powerplant experience. A maintenance Engineer is expected to have fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will display natural leadership and possess fantastic communication skills with a great eye for detail.
To ensure success, maintenance supervisors should display strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of pumps, valves, Boilers, and other equipment maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, cleaning, and managing staff. Top candidates should be familiar with maintenance procedures for Boilers and their valves maintenance and have extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
The candidate needs to have VERY good Engineering Technical maintenance and English skills. The interview will ONLY asses English skills. Be aware that Technical and English level is mandatory, so if lower than B2 level is detected, the interview will not take longer than 1 minute.
The interview has two phases. The first phase is a short presentation as a voice message on WhatsApp, the second phase is an interview in our office.
The average length of the second interview is 30 minutes.
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
Meet the clients and discuss the scope, procedures, and their requirements.
Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
Engineers should be familiar with Boilers’ complete maintenance works.
Should take responsibility of steam pipeline fabrication, replacement, and WPS procedure.
Prepare and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
Employ, supervise, and train workers.
Coordinate daily maintenance and service activities.
Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
Conduct preventative maintenance work.
Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
