Description
Core Functions: Assemble, install, repair, and maintain elevators, escalators, moving walks, and dumbwaiters, using hand and power tools, and testing devices such as test lamps, ammeters, and voltmeters
Key Responsibilities.
1. Contribute to achieve company’s business objectives by meeting assigned goals. 2. Coordinate and organize with other departments to ensure collaboration, smooth work flow, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction. 3. Manage and oversee all installation operations and ensure the commitment to applicable country laws and regulations. 4. Set department’s business and quality objectives and plan to meet and exceed them, in line with company standards. 5. Set and administer the installation department annual budget 6. Follow up on and control installation process to ensure adherence to set standards, timely work progress, accurate product specifications and customer satisfaction. 7. Control productivity by closely supervising Project Engineers/ Supervisors. 8. Follow up on customer satisfaction surveys and ensure customer complaints are handled promptly and efficiently. 9. Follow up on trouble reports, determine and carry out necessary works for corrective actions. 10. Control the filing and maintain all the technical documents related to Installation Department. 11. Recommend and select new technicians and assistants for recruitment. 12. Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and is treated as a priority in all stages of the transition process between the installation and after sales Department. 13. Manage and coach installation employees to meet and exceed their assigned goals. 14. Assign installation team. Determine employee training needs and coordinate with the HR department 15. Provide technical assistance to other departments, when requested. 16. Preparation of estimation sheet for the enquiries. 17. Arrangement of interim invoices based on the contractual agreements. 18. Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications, such as stopping at floors for set amounts of time.
