NurseGeneral Location: Al Ain Occupancy: full time The Dental Assistant or Dental Nurse will perform functions and be responsible for assisting the dentist in the daily operation of the clinic. He or she will ensure that the operations area and instruments are clean and sterilized. Duties: *assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures *taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays) *asking about the patients medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse *serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment *helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment *providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery to maintain oral health *taking impressions of patients teeth for study casts (models of teeth) *performing office management tasks that often require the use of a computer *communicating with patients and the Front Desk, Billing, Cashier, Laboratory, Supplies or Administration *helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery.Requirements Bachelor degree Female. Must have at least 2 years UAE experience. Has valid HAAD Dental Assistant or RN license. Currently in the UAE on transferable visa. Filipina.
