Dental Assistant

Description

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our dental team by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with procedures, and ensuring a high standard of patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming clinical environment.

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, fillings, extractions, and cleanings

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments by adhering to infection control and sterilization protocols

Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and answering preliminary questions

Take and develop dental x-rays (if certified)

Maintain patient records, update charts, and input treatment notes into dental software

Provide post-operative instructions and support to patients after dental procedures

Order, organize, and monitor dental supplies and materials

Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
