Delivery Driver

Description

We are looking for reliable and experienced Delivery Drivers to join our logistics team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers and maintaining high standards of service. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer experiences and supporting the efficient operation of our hypermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations: Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods from the hypermarket to customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize travel time and fuel consumption. Adjust routes as necessary to accommodate traffic conditions or special delivery instructions.
Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Address any customer questions or concerns related to deliveries and ensure a positive experience.
Load Management: Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring that items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Verify that delivery contents match the order and check for any discrepancies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery receipts, and any issues encountered during the delivery process. Report any delivery problems or vehicle issues to the appropriate department.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to the fleet manager.
Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while driving. Ensure compliance with local regulations related to vehicle operation and delivery services.
Inventory Management: Assist with checking inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed during delivery trips. Provide feedback on product availability and customer preferences.
