Description

EVERSENDAI looking for combined commercial contracts management skills, including reviewing contracts, and identifying potential conflicts. At this level you will provide technical guidance to assigned personnel, and ensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration. In this role, you will manage all contract/commercial activity for Eversendai Engineering LLC under Commercial/Operations Department.

Responsibilities: As Commercial/Contract Manager you will take prime responsibility for the management of commercial and contractual issues on the project
– Participates in strategic planning activities for specific projects, interface with Project Manager, Sub Contractors, Clients etc
– Provides technical guidance to assigned personnel, and ensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration.
– Negotiates the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with clients.
– Collating and reviewing all contract Cost Value Reconciliation Reports and Quarterly Forecast Reports
– To be fully conversant with Standard Methods of Measurements (CESMMSMM//POMI) & Conditions of Contracts (FIDIC)
– To advise project management on the commercial and contractual implications of events, circumstances, methods of construction and variations

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and 12+ years demonstrable experience in Contract Administration + MRICS or equivalent + Major infrastructure Projects experience preferably in UAE. + Must have a sound knowledge about contractual relationships. + 12+ years of contract administration experience is required, including claims + Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices
